Inspired by my late father's name of Guadalupe, my research discovered that Guadalupe is actually a river in Spain. Taking that water element, all the pieces in this collection are named after the many rivers in the Iberian Peninsula. Each piece I sought to evoke the imagery of moving water, from delicate streams, to lively babbling brooks, to immense and torrent waterfalls.
